Hillocks Primary Academy was last inspected by Ofsted in September 2026. Inspectors recognised the strengthened early years curriculum, positive relationships between pupils and adults, and the support provided for pupils’ personal development and wellbeing.
The report highlights how ‘adults know children well and build warm relationships’ which help children feel settled and ‘make a positive start’ in early years as they begin their learning journey.
Inspectors also praised leaders for planning a ‘broad programme for pupils’ personal development and wellbeing’ and highlighted ‘pastoral support is a positive feature of the school’.
