We are looking for new governors to join our thriving academy committee, could it be you?

To ensure our academy performs at its best, we need people with new ideas and a fresh perspective – people like you. You don’t need experience in education, just a willingness to get involved.

If you can spare just a few hours every month, you will benefit from:

  • a fantastic example of community work for your CV
  • access to free training that could advance your skillset
  • experience of working at a strategic level on a board
  • the satisfaction of improving the lives of young people

When you join the committee, we will provide you with an induction so you are fully briefed and then assign you an experienced governor as a mentor until you’re ready to go solo. If you like working with people, then you will enjoy the lively meetings and visiting the academy.

They do not get involved in the operational day-to-day running of the academy.
