A Curriculum focused on fun and growth

We follow a child-led approach, making learning fun and engaging. Our nursery curriculum is based on the early years foundation stage statutory framework which sets standards for learning, development and the care of children from birth to five years old.

Through our play-based delivery of the early years framework, we aim to inspire a life-long love of learning in every child building confidence, creativity, and essential skills. We include regular themed days to inspire curiosity and enthusiasm for different topics.

Our rainbow challenges encourage children to develop new skills, such as:

  • problem-solving and creativity
  • early maths and language skills
  • speaking and listening abilities

Prime and specific areas of learning and development

Our early years foundation stage (EYFS) curriculum covers seven important areas: three prime areas (communication and language, physical development, and personal, social and emotional development) and four specific areas (literacy, mathematics, understanding the world, and expressive arts and design).

Our half termly topics are a great way for children to grasp different concepts through playing, sharing, talking, doing and experimenting – there’s something to capture the imaginations and curiosities of everyone.
