Spring has finally sprung and we are so happy to finally have our gardening club up and running. Hollybeck garden centre has kindly provides us with a variety of seeds to help get us started.

We looked at all the different types of seeds, all coming in different shapes and sizes. We then discussed the expectations of gardening, learning to be mindful that the seeds will take time to grow.

We planted some lavender seeds in some peat free compost as it is much better for the environment and they are sat happily on our window ledge.

We have also been very resourceful in gardening club and have recycled milk bottes to create water-butts. This means that when the summer arrives we will have a large supply of water to look after the garden with.

In just a few weeks we have planted cosmos, candy-tuft and calendula and we are so excited to see the garden bloom over the next few months.
